More WES wireless temporary fire detection, alarm and evacuation panels have been selected for use at EXPO2020.

This time our partners at the Singapore Pavilion chose the WES range.

Initially the requirement is for the basement of the building to be protected, with additional units being added to the network as the project progresses.

Some wireless systems have difficulty when it comes to basements; there can be issues getting the wireless signal out to the other units because of the enclosed nature of the basement.

The WES range is fully Certified to EN54, including the very important EN54-25 which deals with fire alarm units with components using radio links.
Not all wireless systems meet EN54-25 which means they have not been tested to the full extent of the Standard.

We are happy to report that there were no network issues for the fully Certified WES range.
All units were tested after installation and found to be communicating perfectly because WES uses a mesh radio network which minimises the possibility of network failure.

The system was commissioned and tested within 2 hours.
