The Luxembourg Pavilion at EXPO2020 is another project that includes some unusually shaped spaces.

Liberty Fire and Safety’s WES wireless temporary fire detection and alarm system was selected by the contractor to protect the building through the construction process because of how easy it is to install and relocate the units on site.

Being completely wireless means no interconnecting cables and no mains power supply requirement, enabling quick and cost-effective installation, without the need for an electrician.

Wireless connectivity across all three levels of construction to provide a site-wide alarm in the event of a fire was achieved with the inherent wireless radio frequency mesh network, ensuring that all site personnel are made aware immediately if there is a need to evacuate the building.

The units were installed in a matter of minutes and the system was put into service at the same time.

No cables, no fuss, no downtime.
